Where are we?

I do believe we took the train from Tomorrowland to Main Street.

Yes, in the future they have time travel machines that look a lot like steam trains. Pretty cool.

Riding Autopia with Duffy

OK, the queue was kind of cool.

Almost there!

It was very hard for tiny bears to steer.

I can't reach the gas pedal

Tiny Duffy, Tiny Shellie May, and I went to Autopia.

I thought it would be fun to ride tiny cars with tiny bears.

Was it? Check back soon!

Can we be rebel spies?

Tiny bears went to Star Tours!

They are pretty good spies. I can hardly see them.

There they are.

"My eyes are blue like Rex's!" Tiny Shellie May said.

And like EVE's!

Goodbye, DCA!

Heading out again. Mom went back to the room. Where do you think Tiny Duffy, Tiny Shellie May and I went?

Waiting for World of Color

Then Tiny Duffy, Tiny Shellie May, and I waited for World of Color.

We found a nice place to see the show on the bridge!

I think Mom took this one.

We enjoyed the show! I think Tiny Duffy and Tiny Shellie May liked it more than me. (The person behind me kept shoving me and standing an inch away from me. I don't know why.)

Goodbye, ElecTRONica

By the time you read this, ElecTRONica will be gone from DCA forever. :(

Goodbye, ElecTRONica!

Tuesday, April 24, 2012

On the Grid

Kind of a cool place to spend a little time, even if you don't dare get on the dance floor. (Tiny Duffy and Tiny Shellie May would surely be trampled if they tried!)

ElectTRONica and hanging out

LASERMAN!

We didn't have time to hang out much at ElecTRONica because we wanted to see World of Color. But we have a couple days of pictures!

Monster Cola (I think) and Poster from Monsters Inc. Ride

"May I please have some Blort?" Tiny Shellie May asked.

"I don't have any monster coins," I replied.

"Aw."

Monstropolis is weird. Here is a poster from the ride, warning of "Repetitive Scare Injury" and noting minimum wage is $4.75 per hour. ("Maximum Labor, Minimum Wage.")

Not TOO bad for a little point-and-shoot in a moving vehicle.

RAWR! MONSTERS!

Well, to get to monsters, Tiny Bears have to pass through...

As an aside, at World of Color a young woman thought Tiny Duffy was cool (particularly that I'd made his outfit) and noted that he needed a TRON outfit. Duly noted.

Anyway. Tiny bears like monsters, I think. Though Waternoose scares them a bit.

Goodbye, Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta!

Seriously, this is one pretty place to eat.

Where are the tiny bears headed now?

Watch Out for that Tree

Tiny Duffy and Tiny Shellie May love climbing. This is still at Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta.

Isn't it a beautiful place?

Christmas at Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta

Good thing the tiny bears were there to help me eat all this food.

Even WITH the three of us, I couldn't finish the pasta...frankly, the pumpkin roll cake was a little much on top of that, but I really, really, really wanted it!

Tiny Duffy thinks Patrick Warburton is Funny

Tiny Duffy was riveted during the whole safety spiel. I'm not sure Tiny Shellie May understood it very well.

But was the safety spiel effective?

"Make sure you put the seatbelt through the center strap!" Tiny Duffy said.

SIGH.

Actually...I know it's totally against the rules...but I totally let the tiny bears ride with me, safely in my hands the whole trip. SSSSSSSSH.

(Honestly, they found it awfully scary.)

Soarin' with Duffy

OK, the ride is not called Soarin' with Duffy, but wouldn't that be amazing?

Tuesday, April 17, 2012

Suddenly it was night!

Took a rest at the hotel, then headed back to the parks. With Mom!

We walked. The balloon in this window made me smile. Tiny Shellie May liked it too.

We actually went to Soarin' first. That's one of my mom's favorites!

Tiny Duffy on a Tram

This has got to be the answer to a scavenger hunt question or something.

Tiny Duffy and Tiny Shellie May on the tram to the Toy Story lot!

The tram is also a repurposed city bus, so it would work for Duffy (or Shellie May) on a bus, too.

Waiting for a Tram

We were staying at the Red Lion Hotel. (Duffy would have preferred the Brown Bear Hotel, but I don't think that's within walking distance. Or real, unless you count a tiny place in Finland maybe.)

Anyway, we decided to take the tram to the Toy Story tram to the Toy Story parking lot, which is a short walk to the Red Lion.

Yes, waiting for a tram is fun with tiny bears!

Walls at Disney California Adventure

Did I mention I even enjoyed the walls around Disney California Adventure?

"Can we come back in summer 2012?" Tiny Duffy said.

"Probably not," I said.

"Aw."

"But," I added, "we can come back this evening."

"YAY!"

Tiny Bears at Condor Flats

Will Tiny Duffy stick to it...?

Of course!

Of course! Though I'm more impressed with Tiny Shellie May, who manages to levitate by the framework...no paws at all!

"I told you my paws were tired," Tiny Shellie May said.

OK, fair enough.

Blue Sky Cellar

The Blue Sky Cellar was a little crowded.

So it was hard to get good pictures of them.

At least there was plenty of room on the bench by the video for tiny bears to rest.

"My paws are so tired!" Tiny Shellie May said.

Mine too.

Friday, April 13, 2012

What does this say?

Tiny Duffy and Tiny Shellie May had trouble reading this sign.

"ɹoɹɹǝʇ puɐ ǝʇsɐʇ," read Tiny Duffy.

Tiny Shellie May just blinked.

DCA Poinsettias

Tiny bears look SO small in front of a planter!

Shellie May likes how they match her dress.

Wednesday, April 11, 2012

We met Duffy!

Took us long enough!

Was not the best pose for tiny bears.

Though they are still definitely more photogenic than I am!

And we met Duffy!!!!

Washed Out Tiny Bears

Yes, we had to wait in a line of maybe 8 people to meet Duffy. Do you think he will ever be really popular in California?
