Christmas isn't dead

I have too many pictures, so I'm going to do Double Picture Saturdays and Sundays!

Also, since Tiny Duffy and Tiny Shellie May went to Disneyland Resort during the holiday season, this blog is going to have Christmas pictures for quite some time.

Tiny Bears like sweets

Tiny bears went to Pooh Corner, hoping to get a delicious gingerbread Mickey to nibble on.

Sadly, none of the gingerbread men had chocolate ears. Maybe tomorrow.

The apples sure are pretty, though.

Critter Country

It was far too cold for tiny bears to go on Splash Mountain that night, even with their warm fur and warmer sweaters.

They stopped to get a picture by some briars, though.

Hold Hands for Safety

You may be wondering why Tiny Duffy and Tiny Shellie May have been holding hands throughout...it has nothing to do with romance or anything of the sort. Actually, Tiny Duffy and Tiny Shellie May are too young to be interested in kissing or anything anyway.

But it is a big world, and traveling can be very dangerous.

So I always tell them...

"Hold hands for safety!"

And they mostly listen.

"Crassula ovata" is also known as the Jade Tree, Money Plant, Dollar Tree, etc. They're supposed to be easy to grow.

I think this one's broken, though. I don't see any jades or money. :(

Jane sketching Tarzan

Tiny Shellie May thinks Jane should be sketching Duffy.

Tiny Shellie May would also like a Jane costume. I think Tiny Duffy would be up for dressing as Tarzan, but I don't know. Tiny Duffy doesn't like to wear pants. Going shirtless might make up for the loincloth.

Scared of heights?

I'm not sure how Tiny Shellie May liked being up so high. Tiny Duffy seemed to like it!

I was holding both firmly, but I was scared for both of them...

No.

Yeah, it sounded like a lot more fun at home. I did not play the game many times.

It's Tarzan!

Tiny Shellie May and Tiny Duffy like Tarzan's Treehouse at night because it's not very busy, which leaves lots of time to explore!

Though when people DID come, they came in a big wave of like 15 people. Weird!

Tiny Shellie May's First Attraction

Tiny Duffy has been on a lot of rides, since I bought him in October 2010 and carried him with me the rest of the day. He didn't enjoy them much. I don't THINK Tiny Shellie May had been on any rides, though. At least, not at Disneyland.

So this is her first attraction! I wouldn't really call it a ride...but I didn't want her to spend her first night at Disneyland waiting in long lines...

One nice thing about bears is that they are omnivores. So unlike rabbits and squirrels, they aren't bothered by meat. And unlike cats and dogs, they like grain and vegetables and stuff.

Actually, Tiny Duffy seems to mostly like to eat what I like to eat. And I like to eat leftover summer sausage.

In a hotel

A nice roomy bed for two tiny bears.

Even a gas station is fun with Tiny Duffy and Tiny Shellie May!

Tiny Shellie May doesn't find California nearly as interesting as Tiny Duffy does. She decided to take a nap.

Tiny Duffy came from California and Tiny Shellie May came from Japan. Well, both were sewn in China but they did some traveling before they came to live with me.

You may be wondering where those cute sweaters came from. They are from Japan! You can read a little about them (and see some more cute-ish photos) on MiceChat. They are tagged "Home Sweet Christmas" because that's the name of the Christmas Duffy event in Japan where you could get them. Or something like that.

Here are Tiny Shellie May and Tiny Duffy at a very friendly Del Taco in Blythe.

Tiny Shellie May likes Mild but I think she might just like it because it matches her dress.  Tiny Duffy, being a classic bear, gravitates towards the delicious Del Scorcho sauce.
