Well, she's not drawing or even holding a pencil. But that's totally what the Animation Academy chairs look like!

"Oh hey! Look! The parade is starting!"

(OK, I took a little artistic license. We were in the area, looked at the schedule, and waited for all of maybe 5 minutes before the parade started. The parade route is VERY LONG so we had no trouble getting good viewing!)

There was a little girl in the crowd dressed just like the monster with the green scales and the red and white striped sleeves. ADORABLE!

They should figure out how to put Dash in the parade too! Oh, I'll bet he was doing laps around the float (so fast we couldn't see him). Yup.

Mater is last, to tell us the parade is over.

I like pressed pennies too, but that's because they're cheap and fun. I don't care one bit about defacing currency.

We were actually in this store when a kind Cast Member gave my mom an "Honorary Citizen of Disneyland Resort" badge. I ran over and he gave me one too! I was super-excited. Mom, not so much.

Long story short, now I have two "Honorary Citizen of Disneyland Resort" badges and Mom has 0. :)

Disney California Adventure really wasn't that crowded! This is, I don't know, probably less than an hour from the parade start time.

Shellie May is not seated for the parade, though. She is just saying "hi." :)

I do believe there are letters that say "No Standing." But look what Shellie May is doing! Oh dear.

Of course, the trolley was not in motion.

Most times of day you get a long stop at the Animation Building because you have to wait for a trolley to pass, wait for a Red Car Newsboys show, etc. etc.
