Tiny Bears play Tarzan

"A good Tarzan scream does wonders to make you feel less scared," says Tiny Duffy. "Try it, Tiny Shellie May!"

"I would rather not," said Tiny Shellie May.

Tiny Bears by the Water

"What a pretty view," says Tiny Duffy.

"Let us get away from the water." Tiny Shellie May tugged on Duffy's paw.

Duffy and another friend of mine

So in another blog today, I outlined my adventures meeting Duffy for the very first time in mid-October 2010.

It's funny to see how far I've come in my Duffy love. :D

Tiny Duffy on Tom Sawyer Island

Just a few minutes later, the tiny bears were on Tom Sawyer's Island!

"See?" asked Tiny Duffy. "That little boat trip wasn't so bad, was it?"

"Yes it was," said Tiny Shellie May.

Shellie May is scared

"Please don't make me go!" said Tiny Shellie May.

Despite the unhelpful photograph, she could tell where we were heading.

"We are going to take a very tiny raft to a very tiny island, aren't we?" said Tiny Shellie May.

"Don't be such a cub," said Tiny Duffy. "We'll be safe. Almost certainly."

"I wish that big safe ship went to the island," she sighed.

She tried to tug Tiny Duffy away, but he and I were steadfast!

Really leaving Carnation Plaza Gardens

"We look very small on this stage," said Tiny Duffy.

These are interesting buildings

Yup; this has to be buildings at or near the Carnation Plaza Gardens. I wonder if you'll still be able to cut through her to get to Frontierland once the Princess Fantasy Faire has moved here.

Goodbye Carnation Plaza Gardens Stage (maybe)

This is a formerly-out-of-the-way area. Right NOW Disney is doing construction to make it a place to meet princesses, though.

It used to have Christmas shows put on by visiting performers, which was kind of neat.

Where are we?

Seriously. I'm not sure. Maybe the buildings by the Carnation Plaza Stage? Still Fantasyland? Both?

Wait...more wreaths?

"I thought we escaped the wreaths!" whined Tiny Duffy.

"Sssh, Tiny Duffy," said Tiny Shellie May. "I think this is an America wreath. You should be nice."

"Do they have wreaths in Japan?" asked Tiny Duffy. "I think I want to move to Japan."

Tiny Duffy on a Bench

"Ah," said Tiny Duffy. "We have this bench all to ourselves!"

It makes the bears look particularly tiny, dont you think?

Posing near Goofy's Bounce House

My tiny bears are too cute and they know it.

I don't recall ever being back in this area.

"YES!" said Tiny Duffy. "We've escaped Minnie's Kitchen of Tempting Food that We Cannot Eat!"

"And into the land of too-dark photographs," said Tiny Shellie May.

Duffy's Spring-ish Voyage - Part 15

Still in Sauder Village.

Point 19 - The 1910 Homestead

There sure are a lot of animals!

I guess people did have electricity in 1910.

"I am glad I am not a farmer," said Tiny Shellie May. "It would be very difficult to take care of all those giant birds."

Good point.

Minnie Mouse's Freezer

"It is very cold in here," said Tiny Shellie May.

"And it smells like cheese," said Tiny Duffy.

Cookies at Minnie's House

"I cannot reach the table," said Tiny Shellie May. "But I would like some cookies please."

The tiny bears tried to try one of Minnie's no-calorie cookies.

"Darn it."

The hologram effect is much more convincing in person, I assure you. Not that I've tried to touch them myself. No.

Tiny bears by Minnie's phone

"Should we leave her a message?" asked Tiny Duffy.

"I would," said Tiny Shellie May, "but her pencil appears to be glued to the table."

Inside Minnie's House

After we met Minnie, she graciously invited us into her home.

"This chair is kind of hard," said Tiny Duffy.

It's Minnie!

Look how happy Minnie is to meet my tiny bears!

Minnie was nice enough to get a photo with me as well!

Impatient to meet Minnie

"Can we meet Minnie now?" asked the tiny bears.

"Just 30 minutes," I said.

"30 minutes????" asked Tiny Duffy. "I want to go now!"

"That's not polite," said Tiny Shellie May.

"30 minutes in blog time," I said. "That's only 4 minutes in Disneyland time."

"WHEW," said Tiny Duffy.

Can we meet Minnie?

The tiny bears posed for this picture when they heard someone say something about getting a photo with Minnie.

"Wait," said Tiny Shellie May. "Can we really get our photo with Minnie?"

"Maybe we can!" I said.

"SQUEE!" said Tiny Shellie May.

Take Your Teddy Bear to Work Day

My calendar at work said it was Take Your Teddy Bear to Work Day!

I wonder if next year they will institute a limit?

Duffy's Spring-ish Voyage - Part 14

Point 17! Burlington Glass Works.

"Can we bounce around these rubber balls?" asked Tiny Duffy.

"They are not rubber," I said.

"They look rubber," said Tiny Duffy.

"I believe they are made of glass," I said. "And if they were rubber, they would probably break all the pretty glass. And then I would have to pay for it. And I'd never have money to buy you anything ever again."

Beautiful items here...I think the worker said most of the big sales are from collectors buying online.

Point 18! Broom shop!

The brooms were neat and reasonably-priced...they didn't look terribly difficult to make, but I don't have any broom straw to make my own anyway.

To Minnie's House!

"Can we go to Minnie's House?" asked Tiny Shellie May.

"Can we, can we, can we?" asked Tiny Duffy.

Minnie sewed Duffy and Shellie May, so they love her.

"Yes," I said.

Still on Gadget's Go-Coaster

"The scenery is prettyyyyyy!" cried Tiny Shellie May.

It really is a fun little ride. I've never gotten an angle like that of the Toontown mountain before.

Riding Gadget's Go-Coaster with Tiny Duffy

"Keep your hands and arms inside the car," I said.

"What about our faces?" asked Tiny Duffy.

"Also your heads and bodies please."

Tiny Duffy and Tiny Shellie May at Gadget's Go-Coaster

"The lights are made out of acorns," said Tiny Duffy.

"So are our roller coaster cars," said Tiny Shellie May. "Is this safe?"

"Yes," I said. "Though the cars are very small. I'm glad you two are also small, or else we couldn't all fit."

Very, very tiny bears

"I feel very, very tiny," said Tiny Duffy.

I had never considered how tiny someone who was already tiny would feel on Gadget's Go-Coaster!

I believe you can see an unflattering picture of me in the reflection on the domino. Also Tiny Duffy and Tiny Shellie May's cute backs. :)
