Shellie May with Duffy

"YAY! It's DUFFY! I say his name really big and loud because he is really big. But he is quiet."

Shellie May in a line

"Wow! Ariel's Grotto is across the way! Can we eat there?"

"Maybe someday," I said.

"Yay!  Hey, wait."

"Why are we still waiting in line in front of this gift shop?"

"Well--"

"Oh WOW! OH MY GOODNESS!!!"

Shellie May was thrilled, and we hadn't even made it to the front of the line!

Shellie May is a treasure

"Now where are we going?" asked Shellie May. "Is it a ride? Will it be fun? Will I like it? Will YOU like it?"

"You'll see, no, yes, yes, yes."

Goodbye, Golden Zephyr!

"Whee!" says Shellie May. "We had so much fun! Now let's skeedaddle on out!"

Shellie May on the Golden Zephyr

So in line near us was a party of 3, a dad and his two sons. The Golden Zephyr only has room for 2 people per seat, so the dad asked if I would ride with one of his kids.

Yes, yes I would. It was fun! I'm almost never on the inside, since I either ride alone or with my mom, and I tend to get into ride cars first, which puts me on the outside. The inside was almost scary!

"Hey! Hey! Hey!" cried Shellie May. "There is room for 3 people in this seat!"

"Two people and an adorable bear."

"Yes! I like that even better!"

Shellie May is almost through the line

"Yay! We are moving closer!

"Wow, those people look like they are having so much fun! Are we going to have that much fun too?"

Shellie May by King Triton

Ariel's Undersea Adventure was not running yet (if I recall correctly)...but the building was still there! And fabulous!

Shellie May is securely buckled in

Okay, I think there is a bit of a problem because Shellie May is below the minimum height requirement. But she doesn't have any bones to get broken or any blood to come out from inside her, so I guess it is OK.

"I'm so glad I can ride!" said Shellie May.

I was glad too. I did not want to ride alone.

Shellie May outside of Luigi's Flying Tires

Shellie May and I waited in line for Luigi's Flying Tires for a minute or two before deciding that we didn't care if we rode or not. I figured that my mom wanted to ride when she came to DCA later, and I didn't want to wait in line twice.

So....Shellie May and I left! We ot a photo first though.

Stuck on Shellie May

I do not know why Shellie May wanted to sit on a bench made of sticky popsicle sticks!

"But it is so colorful!" said Shellie May.

Shellie May with a triangle

When you ride Tuck and Roll's Drive 'Em Buggies, you get a triangle to hold, one per party, to help the CMs count who gets to be in what car!

Shellie May is under the big top (unless she is not)

"What does "under the big top" mean?" asked Shellie May.

"It is a circus term," I said. "The big top is the big tent."

"But I thought this tent was not very big," said Shellie May. "There are Christmas lights and a cotton swab up there. I thought we got shrunk to be very tiny and now we are under a small top."

"Hm. Could be."

Look! It's Shellie May!

Wow...even the arrow in the ride is pointing at Shellie May!

Shellie May with a fan!

This Cast Member fawned over Shellie May's outfit! She suggested a Bugs Land costume next, but I don't know where we would find the fabric!

And here is Shellie May with another fan!

Shellie May gets dizzy

"Whee!"

Shellie May and I thought this ride would be tame. But the cars are round and there were just the two of us, so we got spun around a LOT! It took some effort to keep from falling off the bench. I think it was wilder than Mater's Junkyard Jamboree!

"WHEW! I am dizzy!" said Shellie May.

Ride Count: 3!

Shellie May and Francis the Ladybug

"The Francis the Ladybug cars look angry," said Shellie May. "Do you think she is mad?"

"Well, Francis is a 'he,' not a 'she,'" I said. "So maybe he's kind of mad."

"Oh no! I hope he spins us nicely."
