"So wait," says Shellie May. "We're in a line so we can get a ticket that lets us wait in another line?"

"Yup."

"Yay!"

I know I told my BFF at least that she could go get some Starbucks while I waited in line, but she declined. (Even though I had Shellie May to keep me company and everything!)

Duffy's Spring-ish Voyage - Part 19

It's been a while!

We are walking alongside the train track. We could have taken the train (26) but that would've been a long wait, and we didn't have that much time left!

27! Natives and Newcomers!

It was pretty hot, so I think the reenactor was pretty lonely...we had the site to ourselves.

"Those Native American beds are not that uncomfortable," said Tiny Duffy.

"I would rather look at the corn than have to grind it," said Tiny Shellie May.

"I wish we had a waterwheel," said Tiny Duffy.

These houses were neat, but I like my house better!

"WHEEEEEE!" said Shellie May. "This is so much FUN!!!!!"

We had not started moving yet. She was a little afraid of the dark parts and the ghosts in Ghost Galaxy, but I held her paw and she was fine. Me too.

"Ghost Galaxy," said Shellie May. "Is it scary? I think this will be scary."

"Maybe a little," I said.

"I also think it will be fun," she said decisively.

"YES!"

Is this Pinocchio?

I think this is at the Pinocchio ride, but I don't know.

I personally think it is scarier than Snow White (those poor donkey boys!). Then again, the ending of Snow White makes me laugh.

To Alice in Wonderland!

Once our brains were sufficiently addled, we stumbled our way over to Alice in Wonderland.

It was way more fun without the ugly "safety" features, but it's still fun.

Besides, given how hyper and how dizzy Shellie May is, maybe extra railings are a good idea.

"Toad Hall is SO ELEGANT!"

"But I always thought frogs were slimy," said Shellie May.

"Maybe," I said, "but a lot of them are royalty. Like Prince Naveen and Princess Tiana."

"Wow! You're right! I wonder if Mr. Toad needs kissed too."

My BFF said Mr. Toad's Wild ride was nice and nostalgic. :)

Teacups with a Hyper Bear can be Dangerous

"Oh wow we got the purple teacup just like I wanted and we're going to spin SO FAST and it's going to be SO MUCH FUN and look the teacup kind of matches my dress and WOW I'm already dizzy!!!!"

I started to wonder if this might be a mistake.

"I love the Chinese lanterns! I LOVE DISNEYLAND!"

This will be her third ride. Ever, I think (unless she had an adventure in Tokyo DisneySea that I don't know about).

So where do you take a hyper young bear to burn off some energy?

Actually, we wanted to take her to Mr. Toad. Well, more like we wanted to take my BFF to Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, since she missed the ride from Florida. But for some reason it and Alice in Wonderland (which in my experience gets longer lines during Magic Morning) was CLOSED! So, here's where we ended up.

"Oh wow they are so pretty and I love the lamps!" said Shellie May.

"I hope we get the purple teacup."

I hope there isn't caffeine at this tea party.

Done with Dumbo

"Oh no! We're going lower! Is the ride over?"

Alas, yes, our time on Dumbo was drawing to a close. (If you squint you may be able to see my friend.)

"Oh, that was SO FUN!" said Shellie May as she stumbled out of the elephant-car. "What can we do now???"

"OH WOW look how high we are I'm so excited this is way more fun than Peter Pan Flight hey wait a minute are we going in a circle? and it's kinda cloudy isn't it? but wheeeeeeeee! The air feels so good in my fur! I am having SO MUCH FUN!"

"Can I ride your ride now?" asked Tiny Shellie May. "Can I can I can I???"

"Hurry! This way to Neverland!"

It was a very short line, since we had walked our fastest and beat a lot of people over there, with the longer walk (all the way around the castle instead of over the drawbridge, due to the impending parade filming).

In front of Peter Pan Flight

This was the first Thursday in November, but they had the castle blocked off because of the parade filming that was happening that weekend. Which means the Magic Morning crowds got a bit confused. We went around to the right of the castle and wound our way all the way back...

If you want to tour Fantasyland during Magic Morning, you ALWAYS ride Peter Pan Flight first!
