Goodbye to the Grand Californian

So we're finally leaving the Grand Californian! SNIFF

But we had one more day of vacation, so yeah, let's follow along!

We took the northernmost route from Anaheim to Prescott, Arizona, near Route 66. We saw a billboard for Dairy Queen and finally got there!

Duffy's Spring-ish Voyage: Part 28

"The Grand Californian is very photogenic," said Shellie May.

"Not nearly as photogenic as you!"

So we went out to go to World of Disney because we hadn't had enough shopping yet.



"Hey," said Shellie May. "Can we go to Cars Land again?"

"Not today, but someday. I promise."

Actually, I felt that way in the chair too.

Doesn't help that the lobby is the most gigantic room ever.

I am not sure Shellie May would have gotten so cuddly with Pinocchio if she had seen that horrible movie.  Poor donkey boys. :(

It was a lot of fun to watch California Adventure "wake up." We could even kind of hear the opening spiel play (couldn't make out all the words, but it was neat).

I stayed until I saw a guest actually walk toward Paradise Pier, which was a few minutes after the park opened...everyone was busy going to Cars Land!
