Near Fantasmic
We decided to catch some of Fantasmic! from a VERY secluded (and very poor) viewing area.
We could hear fine but yeah, not really worth being there unless you just really wanted to get away from the crowds.

Deja Vu, Gingerbread, Fireworks
"I feel like we've been here before," said Tiny Duffy. "A lot."
"Sssh," whispered Tiny Shellie May. "She has an unhealthy love of gingerbread men with mouse ears. But we love her anyway."
"I'm not sure that is a nice thing to say," Tiny Duffy said.
Tiny Shellie May was right, though.
MORE GINGERBREAD!
Then we RUSHED over to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad just in time to do something AMAZING.
Fireworks while riding Big Thunder Mountain Railroad...that just may be my favorite viewing spot!
At least for the Christmas show. Even though I have an unnatural love of gingerbread, I don't think Christmas is about the smell of gingerbread and stuff.
The pictures on the ride itself came out a bit odd. I was so scared I wouldn't get on the ride in time for fireworks but it turned out PERFECTLY!

Heffalumps and Woozles
There was no line for Winnie the Pooh (as is often the case at night).
"Shall we ride?" asked Tiny Shellie May.
"Yes!" said Tiny Duffy.
Tiny Duffy and Tiny Shellie May tried to mimic the safety sign. Though they're not belted in at all, so I am not sure how safe they were.
"This ride is weird," said Tiny Duffy.
(He's right!)
I hear Tokyo Disneyland's version is AMAZING. Ours...is weird.

Dockside Dining
We did some shopping, then checked the wait board.
This is the Sunday after Thanksgiving, 2011, about 8:12 PM (give or take a bit).

Trains and Coney Island at Disneyland
Then we moved on back to Disneyland!
My tiny Shellie May doesn't care much about trains, but Tiny Duffy and I love them! This is a piece of Walt Disney's own train!

I wish I could've ridden the Mine Train Thru Nature's Wonderland. (Big Thunder Mountain replaced it.)
Walt Disney built this stove (probably an animator painted it). Yes, Walt loved miniatures! Do you think he would have liked Tiny Duffy and Tiny Shellie May?

Isn't Paradise Pier pretty at night?
I love this area because it looks just like the old seaside parks from the 1900s-1920s.
Of course, I don't know how much I'll love it when it's so crowded...I think part of what I loved about it was that it was so uncrowded at night. Now with Cars Land being so popular, things are changing...
In November they had a deal that if you bought a 17" Duffy you could get 2 costumes for half off. I was tempted! Instead I ended up a 12" Duffy online...that night I think...he is very sweet and dear.

On the Little Mermaid Ride
After a rest, Tiny Duffy, Tiny Shellie May and I left the Paradise Pier Hotel and went back to the parks.

Paradise Pier Hotel
As I said earlier, we splurged and stayed at the Paradise Pier Hotel!
We saw (and heard) some carolers on the way to our room.
Our room was just a regular room....but it's Disney property!
"It's like a squishy trampoline," said Tiny Duffy.
This was our view.
Tiny bears loved the lamps.
