Shellie May and Disney tickets
The next morning, we hurried to Ikspiari and got our tickets for Disneyland Resort! It was a Tuesday, and they had to explain we could not get tickets for today there. (No problem for us!)

Shellie May on a Limousine Bus
Then Shellie May and I boarded a "Limousine Bus!" That is just an airport shuttle with a fancy name. It did not feel very fancy when some loud Americans were talking about Tokyo Disney Resort. They were going to the parks the very next day! (They had some misinformation, like that you have to print out the tickets on LETTER size paper. They actually need to be printed on A4 paper. But the person saying letter size paper was so adamant, I did not dare suggest she was wrong!)
It was too late at night to get a shuttle to Tokyo Disney Resort but it took us to the Oriental Hotel Tokyo Bay, where we got out and got a taxi. It took a while for a taxi to come (I think the friendly bellhop had to call one for us!) but soon we were at our hotel. Hotel MyStays Maihama! I...am not sure if I got any photos of it, but not tonight.

Ready to fly
"This is Los Angeles' international terminal! For some reason none of us understand, they waved us on into the priority lane of security. Someone behind us asked about going through even though they weren't entitled to, and they just sent the whole group, including us...so lucky!!!"
Frozen yogurt! (That was my breakfast/lunch.)
We are ready to fly Singapore Airlines from LAX to Narita!
OH MY GOODNESS they were SO GOOD. The food was pretty good, with 2 hot meals (with ice cream!) and a sandwich in-between.
First dinner (I got the international selection and it was outstanding!)
We got served this about 1.5 or 2 hours after takeoff (5:15 PM Los Angeles time).
Also ice cream!
They brought around snacks. (9:51 PM Los Angeles time)
I probably should have gotten the pork, but I'd just had pork like 7 hours before. (This was at 12:55 AM Los Angeles time!)
The service was excellent and the Economy class seats were comfortable and the seat-back entertainment was very good. They had short language lessons you could take, so Shellie May and I brushed up on our Japanese.
I also watched Toy Story 2 in Japanese with Chinese subtitles (instead of "nooooooo" I believe Buzz said "dame daaaaaaaaaaaa"), a Japanese movie ("Orange" which involves changing the past which is always interesting for me), and an Anime film "The Anthem of the Heart" (a little funny but kind of sad). I also listened to a Coldplay album while I journaled. The flight left about 3:45 PM, I think it was, and arrived in Japan about 7:15 PM the next day, so I just stayed awake the whole time.
Seriously! Singapore Airlines is great!

Shellie May relaxing
We were at a Travelodge near LAX. They had a free shuttle and the property was fun! I wish I'd taken more photos...it was so retro, like 1950s or 1960s. Also, their mascot seemed to be bears!
The convenience store next-door had mini Snickerdoodles! SO CUTE! I'm not sure Shellie May liked them, though, but golly they were cute.
We were all ready to go to...Japan!

More windows with Shellie May
More scenery at World of Disney!
"I kind of want one of these," said Shellie May.
"A pettiskirt?" I asked.
"Yes! Or a talking snowman would be nice too."

We stopped into Build a Bear.

Shellie May at Marceline's Confectionary
Marceline, Missouri is considered Walt Disney's hometown.
Not gonna lie; I was tempted by the Baymax apples.
