Duffy in the rain

Hi there, Tree of Life!

If I would have known it was going to rain instantly, I would have waited a few minutes to go shopping. Oh well.

Our original plan had been to stay until close so we could marathon Expedition Everest, but the drizzle--and the fact that we had already ridden it 4 times--made visiting Animal Kingdom Lodge sound pretty good!

So we watched about 30 seconds of the parade at Animal Kingdom.

If you look real close you can see Donald!

Then we did a bit of shopping, since we hadn't managed any.

This Valentine's Duffy/Minnie was out.

I found the kiss especially creepy. Kind of like she took a bite out of poor Duffy. Anyway, I did not buy one. :)

I think this was some sort of coffee cake! Not bad, and not TOO messy.

OK, yeah, we were kind of on the wrong side of the vehicle.

At least some other people had trouble seeing too. Look at those necks crane!

Love the lions! Even Duffy admitted they were pretty cool.

Engrish in Animal Kingdom

There is some garbled English in Animal Kingdom. This is in the line for the Kilimanjaro Safaris.

"Please do not throw or drop anything from your vehicle as the animals might eat of it."

Good advice. I think.

"I don't see Nemo," said Duffy. "But if you squint I think that blue fish could be Dory."
