"Actually, this was not taken on Disneyland's birthday," said Duffy. "But we are just passing by Ariel's Undersea Adventure."

"When we left, a nice Cast Member WANTED HIS PICTURE WITH ME AND LET ME WEAR HIS KEYS!!!!! I would be happy to share his photo, but I do not know if he wants me to. Or if anyone knows a good program that puts mouse ears over faces..."

"It was VERY VERY HOT and we had nothing to do, so our human thought it would be a good idea to ride. She had NEVER seen the line this long! But at least it was shaded."

"Our trip was in January 2014 so they were still doing a lot of construction on the Seven Dwarves' Mine Train."

"My human's best friend could ride the Little Mermaid ride all day long and my human loves it too. And so do I! YAY!"

"The line was very short so we did not have much time to play with the crabs and the fish and everything."

"I don't know why they didn't clean up this shipwreck at the castle, but it is kind of pretty."

"If you look very hard you can see a dolphin AND Ariel!"

"My human says she is still partial to the queue of Ariel's Undersea Adventure in Disney California Adventure, because she loves seaside parks and old-timey buildings and stuff."

"But she admits that most reasonable humans or bears probably prefers Walt Disney World's outside."

So long story--my BFF's coworkers made her promise to get at least one photo with a character. I think the line for Ariel was posted at 20 or 30 minutes, but it sure didn't look like it would take that long so we got in line...she IS my BFF's favorite princess.

My BFF was wishing for Eric, but ah well.

Then we got in another watery-looking line.

Outside said there was a line but there really wasn't.

"Wow! Prince Eric loves Ariel so much he made a figurehead of her! Too bad the ship wrecked maybe. :( "

"My human still has the biggest soft spot ever for the queue at Disney California Adventure, since it looks like an old-timey amusement park. But this is really pretty!"

One last ride at Disney California Adventure

So we hurried to go get some popcone (sweet and spicy!). I put it in my bag, then rushed on over to ride one last ride.

And then a nice CM whisked us away to the front of the line because of Shellie May's special costume! Aw.

"Yay!"

Ariel's Undersea Adventure was not running yet (if I recall correctly)...but the building was still there! And fabulous!
