"We were not very far into California when my human's mom decided to let my human drive. So we got to pull off on a spooky abandoned road so they could switch places."

"I like spooky abandoned roads! I do not remember a Pepsi can at the last one, though."

I guess Shellie May really does make every place fun, because I was laughing.

"Whee!" Shellie May said. "I am climbing a tree!"

"Shellie May!" I cried.

"Actually, it is prickly and not very comfortable. Can you help me, please?"

"Look at all that debris! It is SO COOL! I think there might be a rusted mattress spring set in there!!!"

Shellie May is on the road again!

So Shellie May, me, and Mom went on a trip to Disney California Adventure (back in March).

We pulled off at a kind of sketchy exit to let Mom stretch her legs and to let me drive.

"WOW!" said Shellie May. "It's so scenic! Do you think they could get Lightning McQueen to finish paving this road???"

"Well," I said, "there's not really any town here, so maybe not."

"But maybe yes?"

"Well, sure."

"Yay! Then they can build a pretty town here since there will be a nice paved road to get here!"

Goodbye to the Grand Californian

So we're finally leaving the Grand Californian! SNIFF

But we had one more day of vacation, so yeah, let's follow along!

We took the northernmost route from Anaheim to Prescott, Arizona, near Route 66. We saw a billboard for Dairy Queen and finally got there!
