Shellie May and Duffy on Gadget's Go-Coaster

"FIRST RIDE on the Go-Coaster!" said Shellie May.

And here is some scenery.

"Our human took SO MANY PICTURES of all of these things when she was younger. She even made a little cardboard model of the place for her Gadget doll!"

"But that was before I was even born," said Duffy. "The human says that blueprint didn't used to be there. I think Gadget put it up to shade the Cast Member."

"The domino gates certainly weren't always there either," said Shellie May, "but Gadget wanted to make the waiting area safer. Now they keep people from getting into the roller coaster cars until they are ready!"

"WHEEEEE!!!"

"Hey," said Duffy, "the human says that they used to have "blankets" made out of gum wrappers, she thinks...)

"I mean, WHEEEEEEE!"

"Then we went around and rode again and again. I think three times?" said Shellie May. "We were in a hurry to ride before the lines got long... MINI-MARATHON!"

Duffy and Shellie May with Gadget's mailbox

"Gadget's mailbox has also moved a lot through the years," said Duffy. "At least, according to our human. It used to be out in the bushes before you get this far....and it used to have a bell on it that would ring whenever the mailman or mailwoman would leave her mail!"

"I hear that Gadget is very smart!" said Shellie May.

Duffy and Shellie May at Gadget's Go-Coaster

"We hurried to Gadget's Go-Coaster as soon as they let us into Toontown," said Shellie May. "This used to be my human's FAVORITE ride because she LOVES GADGET!"

"If you talk to her, she could tell you about all the different color changes," said Duffy. "When she first rode after it opened, the shutters were blue, not brown!"

Duffy at Gadget's Go-Coaster

I used to LOVE Gadget SO MUCH! It is special that she still has a ride in Toontown!

Normally, Toontown closes early for fireworks, but it was a special Friday with no fireworks due to the parade filming that would take place Saturday. So Toontown was open late. There was no line, and a couple little girls were literally running around the queue to ride again! :)

Still on Gadget's Go-Coaster

"The scenery is prettyyyyyy!" cried Tiny Shellie May.

It really is a fun little ride. I've never gotten an angle like that of the Toontown mountain before.

Riding Gadget's Go-Coaster with Tiny Duffy

"WHEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!"

"Keep your hands and arms inside the car," I said.

"What about our faces?" asked Tiny Duffy.

"Also your heads and bodies please."

"Aw."

Tiny Duffy and Tiny Shellie May at Gadget's Go-Coaster

"The lights are made out of acorns," said Tiny Duffy.

"So are our roller coaster cars," said Tiny Shellie May. "Is this safe?"

"Yes," I said. "Though the cars are very small. I'm glad you two are also small, or else we couldn't all fit."

Very, very tiny bears

"I feel very, very tiny," said Tiny Duffy.

I had never considered how tiny someone who was already tiny would feel on Gadget's Go-Coaster!

I believe you can see an unflattering picture of me in the reflection on the domino. Also Tiny Duffy and Tiny Shellie May's cute backs. :)

That is one giant pair of scissors

Not much else to say. Oh yeah! The door to Gadget's living space (?) that you see on the left used to be blue when the ride first opened.

Inside Gadget's Go-Coaster

This is my 400th post on Daily Duffy!

Did you know that I once built a scale model of the Gadget's Go-Coaster building out of cardboard and construction paper? The entire area under the eaves was a really cute sleeping area for my Gadget doll.

Actually, I did a couple photo adventures with that Gadget back in the day...oh, memories.

Back in the day, there was not an exit gate to the Go-Coaster, the sponsor sign that says "Get ready to roll!" was a miscolored Rescue Rangers symbol, and Gadget herself did not do the safety spiel. Oh, how things change.

Fish Power with Tiny Shellie May

"I do not understand this device," said Tiny Shellie May.

"Is it supposed to be a fish swimming in a fishbowl and generating power for the crank that powers our roller coaster up the lift hill?"

"Um...yes?" I said.

Actually, I am not sure. The machine used to actually spew steam; I'm not sure if it does anymore. Steam coming out of a fishbowl does not seem like it would be pleasant, though to be honest, the fish did not seem to mind a bit.

Actually it is Gadget's Go-Coaster

"WHEW," said Tiny Duffy. "No zombies!"

"Actually, it is a tiny roller coaster," said Tiny Shellie May. "And we are tiny as well, so it is very convenient."

I used to ADORE Gadget from Rescue Rangers. I do still like her but I was a HUGE fan when the Go-Coaster came out. It still makes me smile. Even if the ride is very, very short.

Tiny Duffy and Zombies

"Where are we going now?" asked the tiny bears.

"It looks very rustic and peaceful," said Tiny Shellie May.

"Then why do I hear humans screaming?" asked Tiny Duffy. "Is it a zombie attack?"

"I do not think so," said Tiny Shellie May.

Exit of Gadget's Go-Coaster

"Can we ride Gadget's Go-Coaster?"

"Sorry," I said, "but the line's too long."

"It doesn't look so bad to me," said Tiny Duffy.

"That's because you're standing by the exit," I said.

"Oh."

"Also, I'm not sure you are tall enough."

"Aw."
