Yeah, dusk is often a great time to get photos, but it just didn't work out so well in Cars Land!

"My human's friend did not want to ride Radiator Springs Racers at night, so after breakfast, my human and I were the Fastpass runners."

Mom kindly took a photo of me, but I think she's used to cameras that, you know, aren't awful.

"OH MY GOODNESS THAT WAS SO FUN CAN WE RIDE AGAIN PLEASE????"

Maybe next trip, sweetheart.

"Aw."

But don't worry. We can have more fun in Cars Land for a much shorter wait.

"Do you think we can get a Lincoln Continental Breakfast?" asked Shellie May.

"Shellie May, that is just a fun sign. And it is a pun. The Lincoln Continental is a type of car.

Shellie May thought about that. "Does that mean that Lincoln Continentals serve the breakfast?"

"Maybe."

"Because if a sign said 'ham and eggs breakfast,' I would expect them to serve ham and eggs...." Shellie May looked horrified.

"I'm pretty sure they would serve car food like motor oil," I said. "Not food made out of cars."

"Oh. Whew!" She paused. "Although I don't think motor oil would taste very good, would it?"

"Oh my goodness I can see the cars I think we are going to load soon OH WOW I'M EXCITED!"

The funny thing is, Shellie May has been on this ride before! But she's still as excited as a little cub.

"What?"

"Because there's a stoplight!"

"Oh, Shellie May, that is a spotlight. Well, actually, more of a search light, actually."

"Oh," said Shellie May. "Hey! That spring looks like a radiator! Wow!!! Will you take my picture with it?"

Then I met up with my mom again (she'd had to go back to the room to get her sweatshirt--it was CHILLY!). Helpful hint: If you are meeting up with someone at the entrance of Cars Land, be sure to specify WHICH ENTRANCE. I was pretty sure I'd told my mom the main entrance, which I figure is the one with the postcard, but no luck. We wasted some time waiting.

And speaking of wasting time waiting!

My mom didn't arrive until after Radiator Springs Racers FPs had been distributed, so we did Single Rider, which was posted at, I don't know, 30 or 40 minutes?

"I am being very patient!" said Shellie May.

"Oh no!" said Tiny Shellie May. "Do you think that Cast Member will let us through? We are not very tall."

 

We made it through. WHEW!

"Look! That hill says RS! That's for Radiator Springs, right?" Shellie May paused. "Actually, it looks a little like PS from here."

She paused again.

"PS, I am sleepy and I love you."

Awwww. I think it is time to give Shellie May a hug and take her back to the room!
