Duffy and Shellie May (and my mom and me) spent some time in the Grand Californian. It is a great place to relax.

The reason...?

Nachos, of course! Half-and-half (half chicken, half beef). Everything on the side because that's how my friend wanted it and we were splitting the order.

"Some people say they are," I said, "but you and Duffy are bears of happiness and luck. And so far you have worked very well for me."

No, we were not staying in the Grand Californian; too expensive! But we did walk through it on the way to our hotel.

"WOW!" said Shellie May. "I remember when we stayed there because you won a contest. It was so amazing!!!"

"But now we're in Disney California Adventure and that is very good, right?" Shellie May grinned.

This was our Halloween candy bag. I got rid of mine (trying to overcome my packrat tendencies) but after seeing what a great movie Wreck-It Ralph was, I wished I'd kept it! Oh well.

Doesn't help that the lobby is the most gigantic room ever.
