Shellie May and history

"Wow!" said Shellie May. "This building has been here since 1937?!"

"No," I said. "It's just a replica."

"Oh yeah! I forgot."

Can I get a ticket?

"I think the ticket window at Carthay Circle is closed," I told Shellie May.

Shellie May exiting Carthay Circle

"Goodbye..."

"Carthay Circle..."

"Theat--ow."

"I think I am stuck. Can you please help me out?"

Shellie May at Carthay Circle

Bread! Also the Carthay House Biscuits, which I tried because the Internet said I had to. Honestly, I liked the regular bread better than the balls of fried cheese (which were the House Biscuits).

Giant burger. Certainly not the best thing on the menu, but I hated to pay so much money and not get a ton of food!

Not so giant salad.

Yes, the bathrooms were very fancy. The doors went from the top to the bottom of the stall! I guess you can't call it a stall.

After a fabulous meal, we headed out the exit. Note the fabulous railing looking out onto beautiful Disney California Adventure.

"Yay!" said Shellie May. "That was fun!"

"IT'S SO FANCY!"

I had to tell Shellie May to keep her voice down in Carthay Circle. (And she had to say the same to me.)

The restaurant was inspired by the theater where Snow White premiered! The art is from Snow White, I believe, and we were told all the architectural elements were taken from the theater as well!
