Who needs Main Street for Silhouettes?

Bears and the Astro Orbitor, silhouetted against the morning sky.

(Yes, I meant to do that picture. ::shifty eyes:: )

Duffy's Spring-ish Voyage part 10

Still in Sauder Village!

Point 9. St. Mark's Lutheran Church!

Tiny bears can be pious. When they really try.

Point 10. Elmira Depot!

We hadn't been at Sauder Village THAT long, but I guess tiny bears were ready to sit.

This place was funny because the telegraph button got stuck and we couldn't fix it for the longest time! It was in a back room. We apologized to the re-enactor there. I'm not sure if she believed it was an accident.

Lots of lovely scenery.

"Did baby chickens really arrive by train?" asked Tiny Shellie May.

"I'm not sure," I said. "We were too busy having fun and rushing through I didn't have time to read the sign."

"Aw."

To the Astro Orbiter!

By this time, our Magic Morning was over. :(

I just thought this was neat.

Then we made our way to the Astro Orbiter.

Tiny bears are very literal.

Futuristic Rain Gutter?

Not quite, but that's what it looks like.

It's a little hazy out. I like haze.

Didn't realize how pretty it was up here til I looked at the pictures!

Happy Teddy Bear Day!

Apparently today is Teddy Bear Day!

I saw pictures of Duffy online quite a while ago, but I first met him Saturday, October 16, 2010, at Disney California Adventure. It was LOVE.

I didn't want to buy a Duffy, as I thought he was too expensive (and in fact he was cheaper than he is now!). But I thought tiny magnet Duffies were even cuter and looked a lot more like the adorable Duffy I'd just met and fell in love with. Long story short....he joined my family.

I had grand dreams of making him clothes, but by March 2011, it hadn't happened. I brought him on a trip to Florida with me and he posed for a few photos. It wasn't really until a ridiculously long layover in Tampa Bay that we really became friends.

And we've been travel buddies ever since.
