Shellie May waiting for Flik's Flyers to start
"Is the ride going to start soon?" asked Shellie May.
"Yes, soon!"
And then it lifted us up and spun us around. Whee!
Ride Count: 2!

Shellie May by Flik's Flyers
We went to A Bug's Land next, because the rides are low-capacity so I thought we should do them early. (I'd actually NEVER ridden any of these three rides in A Bug's Land!)
We probably should have waited a little longer...we actually got held up because they were waiting for more riders before starting the ride!

Shellie May by the Hyperion Theater
This is a unique and interesting area.
Fun fact--my mom wanted to see Aladdin the day we visited DCA, but I didn't think we had time, and we didn't end up seeing it.
It just happened to be the VERY day that the flying carpet came back to the "A Whole New World" scene after a very lengthy hiatus of like a year or longer.
So if I'd been more thoughtful and made the show a priority for Mom's sake, I would've been there! Oh well.

Shellie May in the desert
"Wow!" said Shellie May. "Desert!"
"It looks a lot like home," said Shellie May.
"Japan doesn't have many deserts, does it?"
"HOME," said Shellie May. "Where YOU live. And where I live."
My heart melted!
