50s area at POP Century

So my poor friend had a terrible time getting checked in, since I booked the reservation. (The Cast Member on the phone said it would be no problem for her to check in. LIES!)

I requested a lake view and a high floor. We got 2nd floor with a parking lot view, about as far from Classic Hall (the main area) as you can get. Ah well.

I did get lost and got this lovely sunset view on the way to the room, so yay for that!

My friend gave me and Shellie May the bed closest to the door, because it had the Mickey towel thing on it and I'm the crazy Disney fan. (She said it nicer, but that's pretty much what it came down to.)

No disputing that logic!

So it wasn't all that much later before we arrived at POP Century in the Walt Disney World Resort!

There was a Cast Member with a bubble gun shooting bubbles at us as we came off the bus, much to the delight of the small children. I commented to a mom that she could've saved a lot of money and just bought one of those bubble guns and stayed home... :)

Shellie May is having a Magical Express time

So if you book a package through Disney, you can take Magical Express bus transportation from the airport to the hotel! I got there just in time to get right on the bus...good thing I didn't stop to look in the Disney Store!

"I like buses!" said Shellie May.

Good thing, because we'd be riding a lot of them!

We actually didn't go inside the Disney Store in the Orlando airport. I would've liked to, but I was in a hurry to get to the room where my friend was already waiting for me, or close to it. :)

I think it came from Paradise Bakery. It wasn't great, but I needed something to eat. (Especially since I left my snacks at home--d'oh!)
